Allan and I moved to Shell Lake on the 4th of July weekend of 1981. Our three children, Ali, Sam, and Abe, grew up on the shores of Shell Lake, which provided them a rich education about the natural
world. The dedicated teachers of the Shell Lake schools filled in the gaps.

Over the years, Allan has provided medical care for many of the people of Shell Lake. I have served the community in local government, education, business, resource conservation, and the arts. In 1997, we
were honored as Shell Lake’s Citizens of the Year.

We appreciate the quality of life in Shell Lake and are committed to making our community an even
better place to live!
