Endorsements

On Monday, February 11, State Assemblwoman Mary Hubler appeared at a rally at the Shell Lake  Community Center to endorse Donna Barnes-Haesemeyer for Shell Lake Mayor. Citing Donna's community work over the past 25 years, Representative Hubler told the crowd of supporters that "For the past twenty five years Donna has worked tirelessly for the Shell Lake community.  She has impressed me with her commitment to the City and I believe she will make an excellent mayor."

Shell Lake City Alderwoman Sue Hansen is also in Donna's corner. She is smart, accomplished, and involved, Hansen says. "I endorse Donna Barnes-Haesemeyer because she has been involved in the Shell Lake community in so many ways: as a substitute teacher, foster parent, managing community theatre, serving on DNR and library boards, and, of course, her own city government. She served five years on city council, where her gifts as a grant writer brought approximately $1 million to Shell Lake."
